The Fishing Tournament is a fun event where you can earn rewards via:

• catching each fish gives you gems
• the more fish you get, the more chests you can open in the guide
• each fishing day has daily rewards as you earn more points </aside>

📚 TIPS & TRICKS

1. Retreat to try again

   1. This is such a huge hack that I didn't know until 2-3 days into the event. You can hit the pause button and retreat to TRY AGAIN! At no cost whatsoever!!

      

2. Hug the sides

   1. This helps a lot avoid hitting fish on the way down. Be careful about these littles ones, they like to jump at your line!!

GOING FOR RARE FISH

Unfortunately, there is no cheap way of doing this. The best option is to buy packs to get as many horns of Poseidon as you can.

My recommendation is to first try to get as many rare fish as you can without it, and when you see it slows down, then start using your horns.

Always use special items to help you go deeper, and seeing what you’re catching!

GOING FOR POINTS

If you want to go for BIG points, you definitely need to buy the 2 packs as they give you 30% more points, on top of great rewards.

If you just want to go for daily points, then spending gems on:

• the ocean scanner will make the rare fish glow, and they give you the most points
• the lantern so you can go deeper, and that’s where fish that give a lot of points are

USING VOUCHERS

Fishing with the Frosty Inspector will always yield better fish, so only redeem vouchers when you fish there

MULTIPLIERS

This only gets unlocked when you have more than 50 fish. Only use this if you’re going for points, as you will lower the amount of time you can fish BUT, when you are using a multiplier, make sure you get a good cast and use the retreat option to do that.
